Base Building: Week 2

Even though I felt sluggish all week and contended with a migraine on Thursday & Friday, when I looked back at my running/cross training for the week I see some solid workouts.  And I’m happy about that :)

Week 2:  05.30.11 – 06.05.11

Monday 05.30 – walk

Walk ~ 1.15 with my mom & Lucy

Tuesday 05.31 – run 3+ miles

Run ~ WU 10min walk {0.53} + run 5k {3.10 / 34:36 / 11:10 avg} + CD 10min walk {0.52}

Wednesday 06.01 – cross train @ gym

Run ~ National Running Day {with the husband & Lucy, for Lucy’s first run} ~ WU 5min walk, 4x 3:2 {12:21, 11:58, 11:41, 11:52}, CD 6min walk {2.0 / 31:02 / 15:32 avg}

Cross train ~ 65min elliptical + Muscle Blast class @ gym

Thursday 06.02 – run 5+ miles

Run ~ WU 10min walk {0.54} + 5 mile run {57:47 / 11:33 avg} + CD 10min walk {0.50}

Yoga ~ 55min class @ gym

Friday 06.03 – cross train @ gym

Cross train ~ 30min stationary bike + Zumba class @ gym

Saturday 06.04 – Doggy Dash 5k with Lucy

Walk ~ 2011 Doggy Dash 5k with Lucy {3.03 / 55:19 / 18:16 avg}

Sunday 06.05 – run 4+ miles

Run ~ WU 12min walk {0.66} + 5 mile run {57:18 / 11:27 avg} + CD 13min walk {0.63}

Total Mileage = 22.66
