Weight Watchers --- Week 17 & 18

Wow, I’ve been using the Weight Watchers online program for 18+ weeks.  On my weigh-in on 09.19.11 I reached a new milestone --- 10% of my original weight lost, over 15lbs!  That means that since 2007 --- when I first started my healthy lifestyle journey, started running, and was at my highest weight --- I’ve lost almost 40lbs. 

This journey has definitely been filled with lots of ups and downs over the years.  I’m proud of my successes and I’m continuing to learn from my mistakes.  I’m far from perfect but I aim to make the healthiest choices most of the time :)

Things I’ve been doing differently the past few weeks:
Pre-planning all my meals and entering them into my tracker in the mornings.  This includes breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.  Most of the time I do have to go back and update dinner after I’ve figured out the correct amount of servings a meal made.  I think pre-planning and pre-entering all my food has helped me to reduce aimless snacking.  I’ve also started to drink more smoothies.  I am trying to drink one everyday.  They are low in points since I pack them with fruit and spinach and soy milk and very filling.  I’ve found that they are perfect for an afternoon or post run treat.

Week 17 Loss = – 0.6
Total Weight Loss = 13.2
I earned 53 activity points
I exercised 6 out of 7 days
*I ran a 10 mile race but I overindulged in sweets over the weekend before my weigh-in.  I used 12 of my Weekly PointsPlus Allowance Points and all my Activity Points.

Week 18 {09.12.11 – 09.18.11}
Weigh-in {09.19.11} = 134.8
Week 18 Loss = –2.2
Total Weight Loss = 15.4
I earned 59 activity points
I exercised everyday
*I ran a 16 mile training run and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in moderation.  I also enjoyed a few sweets but did not over indulge.  I used 4 of my Weekly PointsPlus Allowance Points and all my Activity Points.
