2012 Goals

I love making lists and my yearly goal lists are no exception.  Some of these goals have rolled over from last year {or even the year before}.

2011 was a great year and I’m eager to discover what 2012 will bring.

Hi, I read your blog, a lot, and Im not a runner and I dont even know you, or how I ever found your blog a few years ago.. but maybe thats why I absoulty love your spirit, and personallity. You Inspire me a lot to get off the couch some days and walk. And to make super yummy food some weeks.

Anyway, I love your goals, and maybe have a few suggestions for you in the books and date areas.

my absolute favorite book is She's come undone, by Wally Lamb. It was a Oprah book club book 12-15 years ago. But I read it way before then, and well, I have read it many times after. Perhaps you would like it to?

Ok, onto date suggestions. My Boyfriend and I are in the process of saving, for what, we dont know but we are LOL. Anyway, we try to do cheep date nights often.
Sign up for e mails from your fav resturants, many of them have mailers, and coupons right on line that can sometimes save you 10-20% off. We also invested in a picnic basket. OMG the things HE packs to eat are hysterical, but thats what makes it fun. We play a game I crated years ago, its called "questions" Its kinda weird, but some of the questions are like, "if you were a robot, what color would the button on your chest be?" I have an entire list and we are always adding new ones, if you want it. I could e mail it to you. It helps have fun, and asks questions totally outside the normal stuff. We go bowling, becuase its cheap. Loal entertainment, cheap,or most of the time free. Last year I did a photo shoot with him, because I like Photography. I brought some props, and tried to recreate some pics of us that I see professionals take in magazines. OMG i just realized IM so weird, sorry. But my whole point isnt about spending money when its date night. Its about date night happening. Honeslty last october, It was chilly in Florida, and our original date night got cancelled... anyway, our date was in our bathroom. well the guest bathroom with the garden tub, we never use it, sad i know. He lit candles and plugged my i pod in, and we sat in our bath tub for an hour. It wasnt much but it let us reconnect from a busy week, and let us fall in love all over again.
So i rambled on and on, and you are probably like shut up now, But I loved your post, and got overly inspired to write my own list that I just wanted to share some of what we do. Good luck this year on running, I hope your shin and hip stay healthy. And good luck on your goals!!

Thanks an incredible list! I was avoiding writing a set of new years goals because I'm a bit daunted about what this year will bring. However, your amazing list has almost convinced me! Have a great 2012!

You're going to be a busy woman but these all look FUN!
I especially love your "no eating out" challenge. I've done that for a month at a time...but never for 62 days!
