I totally slacked during this week with my physical therapy exercises & stretches. Between the holidays & traveling … no, no excuses. I was just lazy. FAIL.
BUT --- something I did do this week … return to running! I got the green light the week before from my Kaiser Sports doc so I made my return to running while in my hometown for Christmas! Woo-freakin’-hoo!!!

After 8 long weeks I am finally able to do the activity I most enjoy and love! It was a beautiful morning on The Dam in my hometown. Miss Lucy joined us for this run/walk and let me just say, it feels really great to be back at it finally :)

The husband & puppy joined me again for this run/walk. I’ve got a long way to go to get back to where I was but I’m determined to enjoy each and every step that will get me there!

We met up with our running group for a end of the year run! It was a beautiful, but cold, morning and I enjoyed every single step I took! For the second half of my workout my running buddy Kat joined me and it was so wonderful to run again with her! I’ve so missed this.

Oh man you're doing so well coming back from injury! Sooo smart as you're healing to do the run/walk intervals even if you feel good enough to just run!
