Thankful – Wk6

It’s all the little every day things that make life so extraordinary and this year I want to make sure I am appreciating and focusing more on them.  In an effort to remember to slow down, let the little things go, and enjoy every moment of this life I am going to share what I’ve been thankful for each week.

This week I’m thankful for …

    • THIS post and the wonderful message behind the story.  Thank you, Average Girl Doing Average Things, for the reminder.  {Seriously, go read it.}
    • My husband for taking care of the daily chores around the house while I’ve been sick … including cooking dinners, doing all the dishes, going to the store – multiple times – for cold medicines & lozenges, and being okay with the fact that I’ve doing nothing but lay around all week and rest.
    • Throat lozenges, cranberry juice, & green tea.
    • Quality time with my dad for Super Bowl weekend.  {And that the NY Giants won!}
    • Hearing a wonderful message last Sunday at church that really hit home.
    • Lots of rest while I’ve been sick … and lots of time to catch up on my TV shows on my DVR and on my Bible reading.
    • New recipes that are surprising better than anticipated!

What are you thankful for this week?
